Throw Up Thursday

Over two months ago I had a seizure and in the grand ole state of Oklahoma this means that I cannot legally drive for six months. I totally understand why and appreciate it. What this means for me is that my husband drives me everywhere I need to go. EVERY. WHERE.

He is absolutely patient with me in this, asking where I need to be and when for all my various appointments and such. So I just want to take this moment to say, thank you sweetie! I appreciate your dependability and thoughtfulness in the way that you provide for me and love me. :)

Throw Up Thursday

I love watching you play guitar at our church. I love the way you love our Lord and want to share that with everyone through your gift of music.

You amaze me.

Throw Up Thursday

I like the way you conspire with my friends to surprise me with things and that they feel comfortable enough with you to conspire with you to surprise me.

Basically I just like surprises and you and friends and all of that happening together makes me very happy. :)

I love you. Did I mention that?

Throw Up Thursday

My dearest love,

I knew you weren't in danger, that the tornado wasn't near where you were, but I still wanted to be near you, to see you and hold you and make sure it was true. I'm so glad we are both okay.

I love you. I don't know what else to say.

Throw Up Thursday

Even though your driving sometimes bothers me and makes it impossible to sleep in the passenger seat, I'm never scared because I truly believe that my safety is of the utmost importance to you. I truly believe you would do anything to keep me safe.

But I still wish you would slow down a little. :)

Throw Up Thursday

TJ, the best part of being away from you for five days was getting to come home to you.

Love you always.

Throw Up Thursday

Dearest TJ,

I will love you until the day you die or until the day I do.

Whichever is longer.

Love always,
Your girl

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: Well, this is more of a Throw Back Thursday post.

It has officially been a year since my first Throw Up Thursday post.

(Almost) Fifty-two reminders of the many ways this man has found to love me.

Go ahead, re-read some of them; I already have. :) But try not to throw up from how sweet it is.

Throw Up Thursday

Thank you sweetheart for supporting me in all my dreams, including getting a graduate degree. You're so much more than I deserve and I am eternally grateful for each and every day you are in my life.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: Some days it's more of a "Throw Up My Hands" situation.

He will be my New Year's Eve kiss for all the years God blesses us with.

Looking forward to another year with the love of my life who makes me love my life.

(Yes, I realize this is a month late)

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: Sweet Thang Thursday just doesn't have the same ring to it, does it?

He makes me feel like I am good enough.

What more could I ask for?

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: Just keep reading. You don't really care about this line anyway, do you?

He has the most positive and encouraging things to say when I cook.

And I know they can't all be true.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: The easiest blog series I will ever do.

Sometimes it is hard to think of another thing I love about him.

But I never fear looking for the good in him, because I know there is always more to find.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: It used to be all about how sickly sweet we are, but now it's more about how I am throwing up praises about him.

We ask each other "How was your day?" every day, and do our best to listen to the response.

We realize now, that without those small, seemingly meaningless conversations about the day-to-day events of our lives, we wouldn't really be sharing our lives at all.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: I could have done a Wordless Wednesday series, but then I wouldn't really be abel to post anything, now would I?

We decided long ago that for us, love wasn't a feeling, but a choice and a commitment.

I truly believe that he will make the choice to love me every day for the rest of his life, despite what he's feeling. He's never given me a reason to doubt it.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: I guess it could have been Throw DOWN Thursday, but that seems more negative to me.

I genuinely enjoy spending my precious and limited time with him.

I actually prefer it over spending time with anyone else.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: It could have been Thug Life Thursday, but I don't really have anything to say about that topic.

I still love to tell people the way he proposed to me.

It still makes my heart flutter. It was better than all my dreams.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: It makes passing the time until Friday just a little bit easier to digest.

I use him as an example to teen girls who ask me about relationships.

He's my example of What You Want Your Relationship To Be.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: The day after Why Me? Wednesday and before Freedom Friday.

We are two different people with different needs.

He works with me to find the balance where both our needs are met.

Throw Up Thursday

Throw Up Thursday: The only blog post worth reading on this particular day of the week.

We cuddle every morning. You heard me. EVERY morning.

If we wake up at different times, the first one always gets back in bed to cuddle.

If we wake up late and have to rush, we're just late to where we're going. Cuddling is important.

If, on the VERY rare occasion we don't cuddle (like the plague, that would mean no cuddles), we pout.
